this is a disease caused by a parasitic worm. Those ball are actually filled with the parasitic embryos. They can stay within their sacks for months or even years just multiplying. these worms are epidemic in some places.

Those balls are pure balls of fat I think; the liver breaks down fats
I am in need of a liver transplant (not bc of a cyst) so I really wanted to see this it was absolutely gross
