Bicep Pilomatricoma. Hardened pebble growth in arm. A few pebbles in the sac. Excision and closure.

Thanks to my patient for sharing her procedure. These growths are painful because any pressure feels like a rock under the skin being pressed down on sensitive tissue underneath. You can see how the skin thins out at the surface from the pressure underneath. I remove that thinned out skin so the sutures go through the thick normal skin beside it. Two week suture removal follow up at the end. These calcified growths are very common in kids and this is actually the 2nd removal I did this day. Thanks for poppin by! Pilomatricoma removal. Excision and closure. Running stitch. Calcified cyst. Dermatology procedure. Dermatology Physician Assistant. MrPopZit.
